What is the best evidence for God’s existence?
Here it is very simple argument to discuss with non-believers and in my opinion the strongest piece of evidence for the existence of God.
It has 3 points and goes like this.....
1. Everything that begins to exist has a cause.
2. The universe began to exist.
3. The universe has a cause.
After giving this I usually follow it up with the characteristics of the “Uncaused First Cause” that created the universe. The “Uncaused First Cause” can’t be made of anything in the universe it must be “outside” the universe.
Therefore, whatever or whoever caused the universe must be spaceless, timeless, immaterial, powerful, personal, intelligent.
Based on the characteristics listed who does it describe in your opinion?
No I haven’t
Have you ever heard of the Cosmological Argument?
Given directly from God to man when he created Adam. Adam knew eating the fruit from the tree of life was wrong only because God told him it was wrong. I believe when the Bible says God made us in His image that having a moral compass, knowing right from wrong may be more the image its talking about than physical appearance. Disclaimer, I have never taken theology classes so I could be completely wrong on that belief, but it makes sense in my head and until someone smarter than me in theology tells me I am wrong then I'm sticking to it. (Pastor Bob feel free to jump in and tell me I am wrong lol).
A moral compass is what sets us apart from the animal kingdom. Animals do what it takes to survive. We have a conscience, the ability to know right from wrong and the choice to choose.
Are you asking for scientist proof of God’s existence?
Both scientific and non-scientific
The knowledge of right and wrong.
How did we get the knowledge of right and wrong?
