Do the Trumpet and Bowl Judgments Take Place at the Same Time?

The timing of the Bowl judgments and the Trumpet judgments in the Book of Revelation is a topic of debate among scholars and theologians. Some interpretations suggest that the Bowl judgments and the Trumpet judgments are sequential, with the Trumpet judgments preceding the Bowl judgments in chronological order. Others believe that the two sets of judgments may overlap or occur simultaneously.

In the Book of Revelation, both the Trumpet judgments (Revelation 8-9) and the Bowl judgments (Revelation 16) are described as divine judgments poured out upon the earth as part of God's wrath and judgment against the wicked. The Trumpet judgments are initiated by the sounding of seven trumpets by seven angels, while the Bowl judgments involve the pouring out of seven bowls containing God's wrath.

My Pastor here has all three judgements happening at the same time and like the synoptic gospels 3 different views of the same event, can only have one Battle of Armageddon, I can see his points but still can't get way from all the many different teachers/scholars I learned 3 different times in order as presented.

Last week we spent time disucssing whether Jews keeping all the commandments during the Tribulation period would be enough for their salvation. It was a good and lively discussion.

Here are my thoughts on this subject:

"While keeping the commandments is important and a reflection of one's faith, salvation is ultimately based on faith in Jesus Christ. The Bible teaches that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus, not by works or keeping the commandments alone.

During the Tribulation, there may be Jewish individuals who keep the commandments and seek to follow God's laws, but salvation ultimately comes through faith in Jesus as the Messiah and Savior. The apostle Paul, in his letters, teaches that righteousness comes through faith in Christ, not through works of the law.

It is important for all individuals, including Jews, to put their faith in Jesus Christ for salvation. While obedience to God's commandments…

Glad you clarified/ I went home puzzeled but quickly went back to scripture and concluded what I always believed which is what you stated above. John 14:6 puts it to bed.
